Great. Citizen spies. Just when you think it can't get any more Orwellian....

Time to get some of those posters seen in the movie Brazil printed up. I'm thinking specifically of the one that says, "Don't suspect a friend, report him!"
Seriously, it might be time for another one of those public demo groups like Ladies Against Women to start doing demonstrations in favor of decreasing freedom. Citizens For Governmental Freedom, or something like that. A catchy slogan, a few cheaply-manufactured stickers and posters, and a snappy Website would be all that you'd need to start a nationwide movement. Or maybe I'm being too optimistic.

Well, these folks are headed in the right direction. The sticker page is great: True Patriots Turn Themselves In

But they admit that they're a parody. I'm thinking more along the lines of never letting up that it's a joke. Then everybody will be confused. And with confusion.... comes unrest! Or something.

Something Betty Bowers-y, perhaps?
The stickers look awfully official though. I've seen some around town.
There's an article in the current Bitch about Ladies Against Women. They were brilliant.

Would you do me a favor?
Find out if David and Nadine went to a concert in Detroit last night (July 14th) please.
I think I saw them.
Matina says hello, by the way.
