Shut up, Joe! "Governor Ryan's action was shockingly wrong," Mr. Lieberman said in an interview on Friday. "It did terrible damage to the credibility of our system of justice, and particularly for the victims." Sending 17 innocent men to Death Row -- including one who came within 48 hours of being executed for a crime he didn't commit -- that doesn't do terrible damage to our system of justice. Neither do racist cops who torture confessions out of people (through suffocation, Russian roulette and electric shocks to the nards) rather than find the real killers. Nope.

Lieberman is a complete tool. Also, I can never hear his voice without picturing this guy.

Even more depressing: Of the seven [Democrats running for President], only the Rev. Al Sharpton opposes the death penalty, as he has done for years. Great. You know we're doomed when Al Fucking Sharpton is the voice of sanity.

I don't know why other Democrats even let that prissy little ponce stay in the party, honestly. I'd rather vote for Dick Gephardt. Or maybe even Al Sharpton.

To quote the poet: We are so screwed.

I'd vote for sharpton before lieberman. fuck I'd vote for Hart. I don't know if you have seen this. it is a good list of declared and undeclared candidates with links to relevent information.

Great link! I've just decided that if Lieberman gets the nomination, I'm going to write in this guy instead.

Good heavens, he really is Zoidberg. Not just the voice, either. The pink, flapping cheeks, the pincer like grip...

...the hopelessness, the stench of desperation...
