Forgive me if I'm late to the topic, but I've just seen Bob Dylan selling underwear on my television.

Bob Dylan.

Selling underwear.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that deeply disturbing.

I think this commercial tears the very fabric of the universe. Plus, he's looking like Dave Navarro rode hard and put away wet.

Dave's not that bad-looking. Okay, so he wears more makeup than Zsa Zsa AND Ava, but still... What disturbed me more, in the Bob Dylan vein, is that his face, as well as MLK, JFK, pope John Paul, et al, are being used in the title sequence for CBS's little Religious-Tract-As-90210 show, "Joan of Arcadia." I wonder if Bob actually CONSENTED to that use of his image, or if it was one of those "public ownership" pix that they grabbed out of a photo library... ?

And no, I did not want to live long enough to see Bob Dylan shilling panties. But then, I never wanted to see Michael Jackson buying-out the Beatles catalog, either. That's where it all started, after all... *sigh*

OOPS. Sorry for the repost.

I'm going to listen to "Shelter from the Storm" and pretend I never read your post. I simply refuse to face the cold, ugly underwear-hawking truth of the matter...
