"In cases like this one, where there are serious questions and substantial doubts, our society, our laws and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life," President Bush said in a statement after signing the bill.

...said the man who signed more than 150 death warrants after reviewing each case for a whopping 15 minutes each, even when there were "substantial doubts" that the condemned were guilty.

--Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner

Note: The GOP definition of "vulnerable" includes only fetuses and brain-dead Floridians; it does not include the poor, living children, the elderly, the disabled, wounded veterans, the uninsured, Iraqi and Afghani civilians, endangered species, or anyone who drinks water or breathes air. Tough luck, suckers!
