I had my first belly dancing class last night. I have to work on my "snake arms" and my shimmy is substandard at the moment, but I got the hang of the hip moves pretty quickly. And once I stopped thinking too hard about what I was trying to do (and stopped staring at my thighs in the mirror), I started to feel all loose and free. Of course, this morning I feel all tight and sore, but that will get better.
