Just saw a recreation(damn, there's that word again) of the trial of the Dover 8. This is the school board in Dover Maryland that tried to slip Of Pandas and People, or some such pamphlet, into the school science cirruculum. Contained argument for the ID. Were taken to court, lost there, and the next election, all 8 were defeated. Kinda scarey tho how committed these folks are about eliminating science from science classes. "It's just a theory!" Yeah, a little akin to atomic theory. Ask the folks at Hiroshima about that one!
