so crafty together

Jim and I made our first collaborative crafty project tonight. I wanted to make another shrinky-dink necklace (you can buy blank sheets of the stuff for cheap), and I asked him to draw a robot for me. He came up with this happy dude, which I traced, filled in with colored pencils, and cut out with nail scissors, using a hole punch to make space for the jump ring. The original drawing was about nine inches tall; the post-oven shrinky-dinked robot is about three, a good size for a necklace.

the nail scissors are another excellent idea.
